Black & White

Launching the series

-In the gesture of the Shadows-

Through each black and white composition,  Delgado constructs figures that feel both distant and deeply intimate, as though remembered rather than seen.  Partially dissolved, almost veiled. His creations invites us into a state of quiet contemplation. There is no need for clarity; instead, we are offered deep emotion through texture, depth through contrast. Delgado’s use of line is confident, instinctive, expressive and emotionally charged. It gives us the sensation between control and release.

What is most compelling is the sense of unfinishedness — not as lack, but as openness. These works breathe. They shift. They allow space for the viewer to project, interpret, and feel the magical language of his black and white compositions.
