Let your senses get connected to the different interpretations I create about the word that surrounds me with my art. I am fascinated by the way human beings express themselves within our modern system. With these creations I want to reflect the human expressions and capture the tensions of the daily routine.

“HOME”

Oil on canvas

68” x 106”

“Home” Is one of a kind  large masterpiece!  This  composition represents the way we express ourselves as humans. The way we move our body  and approach to each other is in deep a language, combined with an emotional and delicate gesture; I feel it gives a powerful sensation that invites the viewer to find their own space and interpretation within it. I play with a technique of a colorful palette on a white background  to  let  the painting organically form a visual manifestation of the human essence.

The compositions about horses have a deep menaing for me. I explore the inreplay between memory, motion, and identity. Inpired by the vivid recollections of my grandfather- a humble farmer whose life was intimately tide to the rhytms of the coffee land I grew up in Colombia- I channel the essence of these animals an emotive forces of life.

Consequently, the horse becomes a symbol of loyalty, power and strength. Through leyered textures, gestural strokes, and a pallete that shifts between the earthy and etthereal, I evoke not only the physical presence of the horse but also the intangible legacy of the rural life that shaped my earliest understandings of strength and connection.

Here is where the personal meets the universal in a shared language of movement, colors, textures and forms.
